Pasta Salad Recipe

Are you bored with typical vegetable salads or is out of the options of making interesting salads? Not to worry because we are sharing the recipe of classic Pasta salad that will serve as the tasty addition to any event. Serve it cold or hot, it’s your call since it tastes delicious in every condition.

Ingredients for Pasta Salad:

1 Elbow macaroni 4 cups
2 Salt 1 ½ teaspoon
3 Mustard paste 2 ½ tablespoon
4 Sugar 2/3 cup
5 Vinegar ¼ cup
6 Mayonnaise 1 cup
7 Black pepper ½ teaspoon
8 Onion (chopped) 1 large piece
9 Capsicum (chopped) 1 large piece
10 Green onion (chopped) 1 piece
11 Cooked chicken (shredded) optional 4 pieces

 

Procedure for preparing Pasta Salad:

  1. In a pan, pour water and salt and bring to boil. Add macaroni and let boil until tenders for about 8 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients first then add boiled macaroni. Toss the salad with spoons on both hands to mix well.
  3. Pour the prepared pasta salad on the tray and serve.

 

Tips:

  • If boiled macaroni become sticky after some time, you can rinse it with cold water once again to bring the macaroni back to its original state.
