s. no ingredient Quantity
1 All-purpose flour / maida 5 cups
2 Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
3 Salt ¼ teaspoon
4 Yeast 1 tablespoon
5 Milk Powder 3 tablespoons
6 Sugar 2 teaspoons
7 Water ½ cup
8 Ghee As needed


Procedure for preparing Pizza Dough:

  1. Take a bowl and mix together yeast, milk powder and sugar with water. Cover the bowl and keep it aside for 15 – 20 minutes.
  2. Mix baking powder in maida and sieve it together (chaan lein).
  3. When bubbles start to develop (bulbulay) in bowl of yeast mixture then stir it using a spoon.
  4. Mix this mixture with a spoon into maida mixture.
  5. Using water, start kneading the dough (goondh lein).
  6. Grease airtight bowl or pot (pateeli) with ghee and put the dough inside.
  7. Keep it at a warm place for 1 – 2 hours so that dough rises properly (khameer hojaye).
  8. Put your favorite pizza flavorings over this dough and start baking.
