1 Carrot 1, grated
2 Cabbage 1 cup, sliced
3 Apple 1, cut in cubes
4 Green peas 1 cup, boiled
5 Elbow Macroni Pasta 1 cup, boiled
6 Pineapple ½ cup, cubes
7 Chickpeas / safaid chanay ½ cup, boiled
8 Mayonnaise 1 cup
9 Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
10 Salt To taste
11 Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
12 Salad leaves For garnish


Procedure for preparing Russian Salad:

  1. Take a deep bowl and mix together carrot, apple, pineapple, cabbage, peas, chickpeas and macronis.
  2. Now mix mayonnaise well into fruit and vegetables.
  3. Add lemon juice, pepper and salt.
  4. Refrigerate for one hour.
  5. Garnish with salad leave when serving.
  6. Serve cold.
